9th July 2011
Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: WNW
Wind Stength: F 3 - 4
Surf / Sea State: flat to bumpy
Air Temperature: cool
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: OK cool
Max Speed: left gps
Distance Covered: dip to doc

Had option of July racing @Newmarket, grand prix or a couple of hours at the beach as had in-law do at 4.00
Went to dip manor and fludge, no wind. went bookies and as about to leave for home Neil H said the wind filled in.
Phantom and 9.4 was the pick, with severals sailors about me and squiz set off to the docks. the sea was big near the fludge and at F5. the 9.4 was all over the place till I crank the outhaul flat. Heading to the manor the wind eased, and squiz 8.5 was no match for the Phantom / 9.4 combo to the docks. The broad reaching back was horrendous, I should have let the sail off, but daren't when the big gusts hit it. Again the wind eased so had comfortable reaches, track all the way back just blasting, Phantom's great mid reaches. Alas left the gPS at home. Andy Mex u missed a good longbd day..sorry about the duff info, the wind picked up later..
Nags result - starwitness lost but Frankie D on desert gazelle soon took the smile off the bookies face :)
